Now that all's said and done . . . Sweet hypocricy

It's nice to preach the way of God to christians and jews
The people who believe without questioning you
But when you start spouting your religion
Your beautiful vision
That everyone else just can't quite seem to see the way you do
It's just gotta be true

Everyone has their perfect philosophy
This constant flow of sugary absurdity
Some fall for it
And some can see through this pleasant-sounding mockery
Still others give up completely and join into Scientology
But it's all the same - all this directorial democracy
Just another way to control the minds of the weak

Don't talk to me of peace
While felicity and paradises perpetually decrease
This artificial eutopia you dream of is long-since forsaken
Sadly, you do not hold the lease
People cannot be corrupted without bribery
They must feel secure in their state of greed and superiority
Otherwise, it's just another nonconformist fantasy

I will walk through this life with my head held high
Because, as you said, we are all going to die
But, I'll walk, as always, with my gun at my side
Because when I die I know it will be at my time
No sooner due to what someone else decides
Especially those who don't know me or mine
